Count Floris V and his wife Beatrijs are waiting for you in Castle Radboud. During an audio tour they guide you through the castle to the dungeon and tell you everything about their castle. In the museum you discover how life was in the Middle Ages. What did the people do, what did they eat and what clothes did they wear? For children there is a scavenger hunt with questions and assignments that will lead to a secret code. Will they succeed in opening the treasury?
In Medemblik is also the most delicious museum in the Netherlands. In the Bakery Museum in Medemblik, today’s bakers demonstrate the craft of the past with cake, marzipan and chocolate. While the children practice on the old bakery techniques, your mouth is watering just looking at it.
